Though dubbed “Civil Unions”, a rose by any other name would still smell as sweet. For those of us who have endured living lives absent of the legalities and basic rights afforded our heterosexual neighbors, it is an application that is way past overdue.
Now we face another problem. Throughout the State many eligible public officials while issuing licenses, are refusing to preside over the important step of completing the process through the officiating of the actual Union.
